I haven't played the Capcom games.

Recently, we've been seeing one Mega Man game released a year for the Virtual Console. At this rate, it will take up to 2012 for Mega Man 7 to be released, 2015 for the Mega Man X series after that, 2016 if you include Mega Man Soccer, 2017 for Mega Man 64...
I would like to see the release rate of Mega Man games be higher with the appearance of the Mega Man X series, and if at all possible, the Game Gear (Mega Man) and Mega Drive (Mega Man: The Wily Wars) games.

Wow, your talking my fave 3rd party here, I don't know where to start. I'd like the Final Fight trilogy please, Mega Man X, Strider was already mentioned, some more retro-style wiiware love with one of your past franchises. For a more epic request, I'd like to see if Capcom could pull off Devil May Cry and Lost Planet with Wii controls.

I would buy every CPS1, CPS2 and CPS3 game they release on Wii. Perfect companions for my Hori Fighting Stick. I really hope also to see "Marvel vs Capcom 2" in some form. Why not a DVD compilation of all the VS series? That way we could have the entire set, along with "Tatsunoko vs Capcom".

EDIT: By my reckoning VC support has been absolutely abysmal of late. While I have bought the odd WiiWare game, as an older gamer it is the VC that really interests me, and Nintendo needs to pull their thumb out and release more classic games from yesteryear.

I'm sure more Street Fighter games will be there and I'd like to see the arcade version of Commando in there, as well as a Street Fighter game too.

And "Hyper Street Fighter II - The Anniversary Edition", arcade, 2003...

Gargoyle's Quest 2 (nes) and Demon's Crest (snes) are the two biggies for me... my two fav games of all time and I don't have any means of really playing either at the moment.

I always assumed that they're waiting for the possibility of releasing the original Gargoyle's Quest for some sort of GB virtual console (which I have and still play and which was probably one of the best, if not THE best early original gameboy games. It wasn't quite a launch title but when it came out, it was prob one of the best games in the whole entire GB lineup).

What I hope also, in a sidenote, is that if and when a GB virtual console comes, that the games are playable on wii as well as the ds. that would really make my day. i had a super gameboy GB to SNES thingy and I loved it. GB games still look good and play well on the big screen, trust me...

First Sega, now Capcom. Really hoping Konami's next. As well, I hope Capcom is keeping an eye on the comments here.

GO BUY MEGA MAN COLL and MEGA MAN X COLL for the GCN for like $15 to $20 at a used game store. It's way cheaper in the long run. Waste of money and storage space people.

Why not "set your sights" on lousy PAL conversions for the VC? Developers will release games regardless of what people say but a site like yours could potentially have an influence on a 60hz future if only you would make some noise about it to the right people!

Capcom's SF games suffer from this particularly. I hope you passed on people's concerns about this issue to Sega when you had the chance. This matters more to many of us than what the next game to come out will be. Imagine the credibility your site would garner if it could influence such a change.

I love that game.

All of Capcom's fighters were great, but Warriors of Fate is the one that I've been most wanting to come to VCA (seems like I'm not the only one) my brother and I used to spend hours playing that down the arcade.

Obviously there was a lot of love given to various Disney franchised releases on the SEGA page the other day - hopefully someone can pass that onto Capcom rather than us all repeating it.

Another plea I'd like to make to Capcom is to publish the Onimusha and Devil May Cry series for the Wii. This doesn't have to be on the Wii - The Metroid Trilogy shows what can be done.

Well, most of them have been said already.
Too bad the Disney games won't come, but then Disney probably doesn't want their own games upstaged.
Destiny of an Emperor (NES) is the only one I can think of.
There's probably no chance of us seeing RockBoard for Famicom, though.
(possibly the only Japanese-exclusive Megaman game (besides the PS1 NES game ports).)
Disappointed Nintendo won't let Bionic Commando on VC for whatever reason.

I was just thinking, this may be more for wiiware but how about Phoenix wright episodic games on wiiware like the ones Taletales are doing? That would be cool!

Get me as much Mega Man and as many fighting games as possible. Then bring me Three Wonders.

Capcom made tons of great games, not just Street Fighter and Mega Man. Any of these games would be great:

U.N Squadron, Strider, Knights of the Round, 1942 and 1943, (Super) Buster Bros, Demon's Crest, Breath of Fire I, Eco Fighters, King of Dragons, Black Tiger, Giga Wing, Dynasty Wars, Varth...

Of course, the SNES Mickey Mouse games were also some of the best. Would pay 900 pts for those.

As for you folks who want Resident Evil 2, why don't you just pick up a copy for the GameCube (which of course works on Wii)? The N64 version had horribly compressed graphics. Am I missing something?

@ Ninjatendo the n64 version had a cheat for invincibilty and its different from the gamecube version. besides a Resident Evil 2 gamecube disc goes for about $40 used....

@ Sonic&tails1 – I suppose an invincibility cheat is a pretty good reason to get that version (if only my cheat device that I had for the GC still worked for the Wii). Yeah, $40 is kind of a lot for a GC game that old, although I have seen it for $30 (as well as RE3) on occasion at GameStop.

Bionic Commando... PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE!!! Nintento needs some Bionic Commando love. It would be great if they made one for WiiWare where you can aim the bionic arm.

I doubt either will ever come to the VC though. Trojan is pretty good fun, but I only really want it for nostalgic reasons. Street Fighter 2010 is brilliant, but unfortunately, not many people seem to agree with me on that one. I'm going to keep my fingers crossed though. I might be lucky.

Mega Man X and Strider

Demon's Crest. This cannot be overstated. The Gargoyle's Quest games are great too (and I'll certainly throw 500 points at Gargoyle's Quest 2 the day it uploads), and they supply tougher platforming challenges without being absurd. But Demon's Crest just OOZES style (just watch the intro and the first boss' entrance, and you'll get a taste of what I mean), and it's one of those games that you'll replay just to try out your various abilities in different situations. Please, Capcom, everyone knows about Mega Man, Street Fighter, and even Ghosts n Goblins. Bring this tragically overlooked gem back to the light.

With that said, if you must upload Mega Man (we already have the best three, and the X Collection isn't plagued by reverse controls- which aren't even that big a deal), maybe we could get some that aren't featured on the collection. MM&Bass would be nice, or the SNES version of X3, or even Mega Man Legends/64.

And of course, Strider's a must.

I would like to see the NES version of Commando (not Bionic).

Also, like someone above me said, let's have a discussion about what SNK games we would all want to see! Or, if anything, find out why there have been no new Neo-Geo releases since December! Did they give up on the VC?

Pretty much all the games from Capcom I'd want I already own (Duck Tales 2, Darkwing Duck, Bionic Commando, Mega Man IV, Strider 2).

However, the two games I don't have hard copies of are Final Fight 2 and UN Squadron. Two games I was hoping they'd get around to releasing. But they haven't.
